Started on the Winter Solstice, this pen features creeping myrtle leaves (periwinkle) in reference to the custom of having evergreen in the house as a sign of hope. The leaves on the clip and each of the leaves on the three visible rings (a total of twenty-two) are each cut and formed by hand, one at a time, in nickel silver. The pen barrels, finials and section are turned from Italian green "Pine" acrylic and finished with a #6 Jowo nib. 14mm cap threads, 152mm overall length capped, 136mm uncapped, and a weight of 30 grams. This is a big, well-balanced pen that offers the owner a constant reminder of hope for good things to come.
